Before I begin this report I have to say I am a former student who will give you a real look at this school. When I checked them out on the web all the reviews were positive. That didn't look or sound right. The reviews were written by people who worked or had a financial intrest in the program. For example the LVN program costs $27,000 dollars and if you went to a junior college it would cost around $8,000. They have admission reps that will make the school seem competetive but in fact they are not. The reps get big commission off the students they recruit. The instructors are incompetent. We had three different instructors for the Anatomy class and around 40% of the class was failing. The teachers don't answer your questions. They have silly little rules like no eating and drinking in class. They give you a ten minute break per hour to use the restroom. If you are late you have to do a twenty minute make up session. Teachers would write students up for accidentally leaving their cell phone on. Some of the teachers are racist and they seem to pick on certain students for no reason. This school should be shut down. I am filing a complaint with the Texas Board of Nursing, Texas Workforce Commission, and the state education agency. Avoid their tricks, broken promises, and wasting your time. Stay away from Concorde or any career school for that matter. Just to let you know no state/junior college will honor their classes and they are not transferable. The fast way is not always the best way. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD SCHOOL.

Your so stupid. You work there and did not go to school there. You take up and defend all their practices. It's not like someone has to be a Brain Surgeon to know your a d**n a DUNCE who is fat and works at a bull s*** school.

I also went to Concorde, it's nursing SCHOOL and it's supposed to be hard. If 40% of the class was failing Anatomy then they deserved to do so, you have to study. You were NEVER allowed phones in class in High School, nor were you allowed food in class in any school unless for a special occasion, so what is so different about Concorde? The Tuition is high, but you got in didn't you? Knowing the price of tuition didn't deter you from enrolling, so who's at fault? I graduated, got a job and was told that we had more skills than some of the community colleges.
Yes you have to put up with their rules...just the same as you would at any other college. As for the breaks, I for one appreciated them. Community college classes you could leave and come back, but would miss what was being taught. Unless it was a new policy, nobody EVER had a twenty minute make up session unless it was for excessive absences from the class during the day. My biggest gripe with that school is that they do allow almost anyone to get in when many should just stick with working at McDonalds.
I cannot attest to the racial comments towards students, but most of our class and previous classes did have issues with the foreign students. It was more than a few that were caught cheating and still remained in class. My other gripe would be where we were permitted to smoke and the lack of room in the break area. File a complaint with the BON or whatever, but many have before and the school comes out just fine. I was never promised anything, but I did get one hell of an education and from some great instructors. Highfill,Zandy and Witte ROCKED!
