Confidential Shopping Ripped off $4,473.72 designated for child's medical bills Minot North Dakota
I have a friend who did secret shopping for a company. I thougth this would be a good time to make a little cash. I called this company and asked how I get paid and how this worked. They told me I was an independent contractor and would receive a 1099. They even told me how to keep track of calls, etc. for tax write off purposes. I deposited the check ($4,985) on 3/31/08.
On 4/1/08 I went to the establishments I was told to. Sent 2 money grams worth $4,473.72 in total, which is the only money I care about. I don't care about the other $511.28. They said to make up any name because nobody picks it up it just goes back to the company. So when I did the 2 money grams I made up 2 names and when the cashier asked if they need to show ID, I said yes, since I figured nobody would pick it up.
On 4/3/08 was called by my bank to say the check was counterfiet. The bank and routing number were legit, but the check was not. Sheridan State Bank was the bank and the routing number 2426473952 was good. I need to get this money back immediately and am willing to do whatever is necessary!!!
