Consolidated Awards Bureau C.A.B. Another Rip off- this is elder abuse Miami Florida
My Uncle passed away and I am having his mail forwarded to me. Sweepstakes applications seems to be his downfall. I recently received a "Pri Air" envelope and the contents indicated that my Uncle will receive $1,130,492.33. All he needs to do is send in $20.00 and the money is his. I decided to send the form back with a letter that asked them to remove the $20.00 from my Uncle's winnings and send the rest to him (even though he is dead-they don't know that). Something tells me that won't happen.
This and almost all the other mail that I receive from him is bogus. He passed away in late Feb. 2015 and I have been receiveing 10-15 pieces of mail like this every week. I would send them back "return to sender" but most of them are smart enough to not have a return address on their envelopes. There is one group from the Netherlands that does have a return address in Europe somewhere and I just write "return to sender" on the envelope and let them cover the return postage. Sooner or later they will take my Uncle off their list. In one week I received 7 different pieces of mail from them with all the same return address. Unfortunately my Uncle didn't take the time to notice these mailings were all from the same address. He was just hoping to hit the jackpot.
This is clearly elder abuse. I don't understand why our government allows this to happen.
