I received an email. I clicked it and stupidly did not look at the full address. Filled out my information for a set of tools I had won, authorized shipping charges of 5.99.
I checked my card and they charged an extra 71.67. I called the number given and talked with "CELINE" and she said she would close the account so no more charges would hit my card but refused to reimburse me the 71.67 that I knew nothing about and did not authorize.

What was the CONTEST you entered to win this? If you don't remember entering a contest, why would you open the email? Secondly, if you really won a contest you entered, why would you for one split second think you would need to pay an ultra low amount for "shipping charges"? This "just pay shipping" scam is well known. If you enter a contest and win something, it's FREE. When you hear infomercials, especially on a certain "Christian" radio chain saying you just need to pay shipping for a "free" sample, that is just an attempt to get your card information which the alleged "Christian" radio chain is gladly going along with and looking the other way. Use your head!
