I just got off the phone with a customer service rep who flat out refused to give me even her name, and then when I asked to speak to a supervisor was told that I could be transferred to voicemail. I asked her to please have the supervisor contact me when available, and asked when that would be. Not only did she refuse to even give me a ballpark estimate, she wouldn't even give me a day when the supervisor would get back to me. My car has been sitting, dead of course because this product is a piece of junk that ruins car batteries, in a Car Toys parking lot for 4 days now. 3 days ago I had another hour long phone call with another very rude Intoxalock rep who insisted that it was basically my problem and that my battery was the cause of the recalibrated device not working. It took me putting the Car Toys technician on the phone with her to confirm that it was not my battery, it was their faulty device, before she would even listen to me.
At that point she guaranteed me that they would overnight a replacement part and it would be in by Saturday. It's Saturday, no part, my car is still sitting dead in a bad part of town, and I couldn't have had a more rude conversation with a customer service rep than the one I just had. The customer service rep made it very clear that she could care less about my issue and made it clear that I was an inconvenience to her. I am beyond fed up with this joke of a company. They have a captive consumer base that has no other options and they feel they can treat their customers like garbage. I will at a minimum be filing in small claims court, I would love to file a class action lawsuit. I've already emailed a class action attorney, and would love it if anyone else who has had similar experiences with intoxalock contact me at (((email redacted)))

This company claims I have lost 2 devices and that I owe them $1500 each. Each month you mail a device back to the company for a new one. Stupid that my state would allow this. Any way I refuse to pay for something they lost and on 3/20/2013 they started debiting my credit card. My account has been closed for over 6 months. I now have an attorny contacting them. They ate in so much legal trouble. Funny how they think they can get away with this. Jeff S. 63017.

I to have been wronged by this company, just recently. I almost felt like it was a gag set up by some TV show my machine randomly went off without warning as if I didn't blow on a retest. when I did blow in it I failed, my vehicle went into a lockout mode with the horn beeping I immediately pulled over and tried several times to start it over to no avail. I called CST and wanted to know what was going on I got transferred to a technican who walked me through a way to reset the machine by plugging and unplugging it ten times I did just that.
After the reset I blew .000 and my truck started I told CST I was only blocks away from there store and wanted to trade my my defected machine for one that works. I almost made it when A retest came up and I had to blow again I failed! these numbers were high like .058 and spiking between .040 & .058. It was obvious to me and my two witnesses that there was something wrong with this machine. Within minutes after getting to the store I had the new machine and practically begged someone to watch me blow into it and investigate my truck to prove that I did nothing wrong. They insisted that they would know without physically looking at the same thing I was looking at. I insisted a couple more times explaining to them that for them to charge me $75.00 for there faulty equipment was literally takeing food out of my familys mouth. they told me after the review if they found anything wrong I would be reimbersed.
I got the new machine hooked up and blew zeros across the board.
Started haveing trouble again a couple of weeks later kinda the same thing except this time I failed passed the restart failed the retest but then passed the test after the horn blows. I started the truck and did this consecutively four times while on the phone with a customer servive represenative. I took the machine in the next day to get another one. I asked the lady in the store to give me another machine and then asked her if she had the final report on the one I had dropped off previously she said she had it and the charge of $75 will stay. I honestly couldnt believe it. I rementioned the fact that I asked someone to look at it while it was in my truck, she replied "you never asked us to do that" I said yes I did and I had a witness that walked in with me that was there when I asked, she said "you didn't have anyone with you" The guy that was with me was with me again and couldnt believe what was happening. I asked to discuss my log review she told me I could purchase it for $32 I found out that in the state of IA. they can discuss it with me free of charge I went over every possibility in my head as to what could have happened and nothing added up I have had the machine over a year now with no instances untill now. A Year!! I dont wear cologne I dont have an exhaust leak and I had nothing to eat several hours previous to the incident and even then nothing that I havent been eating since a year ago.
I am disgusted with the way they made me feel like I was doing something wrong I was doing everything that I have been doing without incident for the past year I am hyper aware of things that could trip the trigger> I would help anyone build a case in this matter I am going to stay on this untill something is done
