As far as the rebuttal is concerned..I tried emailing Lonnie Pitts and the email doesn't even exist or has been changed...well below is a copy of the email I sent..If a company is compliant with all they offer and satisfactory I would never take out all this time to report them..I do not dedicate My time to things like this but this is just outrageous...again below is a copy of the email I sent him...... Hello Mr. Lonnie Pitts, Here are the facts..the dealer told us that they cover major work..after having it towed to the Audi dealer in Manhattan.the mechanic called continental and said the Audi needed a new engine and it would cost $8000..he was told they will not pay for it and if he would take a engine Continental provides which was about $5200.Obviously he said no being a actual dealer that wouldn't make sense..After losing the $300 diagnostic fee we had to pay the dealer, we had it towed to another mechanic. Now at this mechanic there was different excuses given being that he had to wait for an inspector which by the way took like three days..then they wanted the mechanic to send an estimate which he had already given and then he had to wait for Continental to ship the the engine which after we were told by you adjuster it was going to be a whole engine with 25000 miles less sent it turns out to be the head or something like that..Now this has been an ongoing situation for three week and a half and I still don't have my car..the mechanic said he finally received the parts but I'm sure there will be more problems in either him receiving payment or all the parts weren't sent..Its been a very unpleasant experience dealing with this. when we purchased this warranty it was to feel safe and secure not to deal with this amount of stress.I'm sure you are rebutting this claim I made at Rip-off Report.com just to make things look good for continental but the facts are there!

In regards to this claim being denied I had a question or two: 1. What was the Audi dealership trying to replace that made us deny the claim? If the Audi dealer was trying to replace more than what was wrong with the vehicle the claim can be denied. The other reason for denial could be if they wouldn't tell us which guide they use, like a Chilton's manual or a Motor's guide. Some dealerships try to charge far more than necessary for repairs. Did we end up paying your claim? Please let me know, my email is [email protected], I'd like to know how much we paid on your claim and look into what was the reason we denied your initial claim at the Audi dealer yet were able to pay the claim at another facility. Please contact me about that, my name is Lonnie Pitts, Welcome Center Manager 1-866-989-9100 extension 1620 or email me. In response to the comment that we only pay minor claims or we are a scam, I can only say we specialize in higher end vehicles. Within the last 6 months I have seen us pay out $11,500 for a new engine on an Audi A8. We also paid out $18,900 for a wiring harness on a Mercedes S500. I understand you making that accusation out of frustration, but the truth is we pay out more in claims than any after market warranty you will find on the market. Thanks Lonnie Pitts
