Countrywide ripoff unrealistic charges no help Evansville Indiana
I contacted Countrywide work out department, in regard to previous entry filed. I was a $1.20 short on payments made Jan-July according to Countrywide adding up to $8.40 dollars. Countrywide has purposed this work out plan. What do you think?
Regular payment is 686.20 they want me to pay and additional $700.00 per month until April 2006. 7 months this equals $4900.00. This is after I told them I had $2300.00 saved to resolve the problem. No one said does this include the 2300, or do I add it too the 49.00? Again no clear answer.
If they took my check of 685.00 each month, but have on file I paid 686.20, But bank statments reflect only the $685.00 payment. How does this happen? Rahul (customer rep) says "possible they held in an account each month and drew the $l.20 out to put with pervious month."??? If thats what happened, from Jan. to Sept. the amount short would be $54.00. So insteading of calling, writing, they just kept doing it. The excuse is no
letter of ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, which allows them to discuss accounts with us. Of course we knew nothing of this until 2 years later.
Notice of foreclouse was sent, 4 days after notice from Attorney Phillip Norman another rip off artist.
Point being: FOR MY OVERLOOKED INSIGHT,(due to medical and employment hardships , that was made clear before hand to Countrywide. My stress level had been met, and the $l.20 error occured. Now the price to their VALUED CUSTOMER IS: $4900.00.
I consider that a RIP-OFF BIG TIME!!! How many real life Americans could pay their regular payment(686.20 plus and extra $700.00) we are hard working middle class Americans. On a BUDGET like most normal people.
LOAN SHARKING I thought was illegal??
I only read of mafia people doing these kind of things. Or saw it on tv. But how can this really happen to a person??
