To whom it may concern:

I am a Gary, Indiana resident. I reside in what is considered a "low-income" area of the city called "Glen Park". For the past two years, Countrywide has tried to do a "quick-foreclosure" procedure on my home, mainly by hiring incompetent and or fraudelent/dishonest workers. For some reason, this company has a great list of "foreclosure" proceedings filed against a majority Glen Park section of Gary. To give an example, my home can possibly be appraised at abt $65,000, however, it will not sell for more than $40,000 (if that much), due to the "market value of the homes in my area. I refinanced with a company (who Countrywide later purchased my mtg. from, unbeknownst to me until after the "purchase" was made). I owe Countrywide approx $53,000. I have filed and had Chapter 7 bankruptcy discharged as of 8/04, so this obviously raises my eyebrows because I know legally they can't come after me( as far as collections) for atty and late fees; the only thing they can do is take the home, That being said, this would make this company out of California, start off with a negative of at least $13,000.00; however, this seems to be their absolute/relentless goal! What interest would a California company have in a "low-income" section of this city that's over thousands of miles away? Why are they so "hell-bent" on obtaining the properties in this area?

As I've stated, they've hired (who I'll also be reporting to the Indiana Legal Bar Assn) Feiwell & Hannoy out of Indianapolis to do things such as :

* lie under oath to a judge and misrepresent facts (by claiming in the midst of my bankruptcy that I was behind in my mtg, when they were in direct contact with my atty, and myself, and knew that my atty was holding all of my current money orders),

*filing for "Summary judgement," (which claimed Countrywide hadn't recieved a payment since 9/04, when in fact, I was able to prove that Countrywide accepted payments from me through Dec '04, recieved and scanned m/o for Dec '04, held it until Jan '05, so that they could say I was in foreclosure status, due to Dec '03 and Jan '04 payments via Calumet Township Trustee's Office, being recieved,thrown away/not signed and sent back twice by their employees)- I technically won the summary judgement with proof of my documentation, including front and back of m/o, which are due to expire 2/06, a fact which I made clear in my court papers. Almost $3,000 worth of payments, basically thrown away (literally) as I could not re-cash them because "[Countrywide] recieved and scanned the backs of the money orders (as though they were cashing them" per the establishment from whence I purchased the money orders)...

*Later, Countrywide's attys and myself both filed simultaneously to "dismiss" the case; I wanted "all allegations and charges against me by Countrywide dropped and to stop being "harassed" by Countrywide and its agents...as Countrywide and their atty's have had over 2 years to bring my account into an accurate standing, and money orders were abt to expire..."; the judge set a hearing date because he technically said I couldn't dismiss without a hearing date; however, Feiwell & Hannoy wanted dismissal "without predjudice," which meant they can keep harassing me (by ,including but not limited to, them letting the money orders and vouchers expire, thereby making me responsible for 5 months worth of payments, @ $552.90 p/month!) I requested a hearing date be set, and the judge re-set the hearing date; however, the hearing date fell upon the same day/time as my finals in college, so the judge re-set the date to Feb '06;

*Feiwell & Hannoy, waited until the judge re-set the date to Feb '06, and then "found" a law code for the State of Indiana that is telling the judge that he doesn't have jurisdiction to re-set a hearing [to make them address/accept the 5 mo worth of payments in question...] because he already ruled that the case be dismissed; they also claim they had no idea I wanted the case dismissed with predjudice because I didn't put those exact words in my dismissal caption, although it was crystal clear in the body of the motion, this was just recieved by me Jan 6, 2006, and I am unable to contact an atty. I'm not certain if that means that the hearing has been cancelled or what, but the entire time, I've been forced to fight this law firm pro-se.

All of these things, along with other documentation I possess, show that for some under-handed reason, Countrywide and Feiwell & Hannoy are bent on kicking me and my 4 y/o daughter out on the street, but no one can tell me why!

Also noteworthy is the fact that during the bankruptcy, up until now, Countrywide has never sent me a re-affirmation letter, as they were well aware of my intentions to keep the home from the time of my filing in 4/04!

They purposefully waited until 4 months after the bankruptcy had cleared to begin this lie about me being in foreclosure. If I was in foreclosure in 4/04, why did they accept payments from me through 11/04?

Trying to speak with the agents of Countrywide is like trying to infiltrate a street gang-everyone has "ficticious" names and/or titles, no one knows anything about the account, each time I do contact them, I'm on the phone for no less than 45 minutes, being passed from one "department" to another, until finally, I end up with a nasty attitude having "manager" who refuses to research my account, and then hangs up on me!

Anyone who can, please help. I have been interested in filing a class-action lawsuit against them for negligence, harassment, and punative damages for the longest time. Please let's put them out of business and show them that our legal system and government can and will protect us from the terrorists within the United States such as dishonest criminals like Countrywide Home Loans and their agents.

I'm from Wisconsin and believe me I know what you are going through with them. We had our loan remodified with them in Dec. 2004. In Jan., Feb., and March, I sent in new payments on time. Then in mid-March, I recieve a phone call, not a letter, asking why I was sending in so small of a payment. I explained to her about the remod, but she claimed she checked our file and there was no such remod done. I had the paper right in my hand and gave her the name of the loan councler. She said she didn't know that person. I told her I would fax her the doc. ASAP and she said no need to. She put me on hold, and as I sat here for 2 HOURS AND 45 MIN., she comes back to tell me our payments were NOT 511.76 as I had been sending, they were actually 869.95 !!! She said they needed the back amount ASAP and I told her I was ONLY going to send the remod amount of 511.76. When I asked why the payments jumped up over 300.00......her responce to me was..."we're Countrywide, and we can do what we want!" then she hung up. This is what they believe....THEY CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT. These people have to be stopped. When I called to ask for reinstatement figures, they said it takes 72 hours for them to come in, then the figure only lasts for 10 days. Everytime a new request is asked for, it comes in 1500.00 more that the last! What about us on Social Security and only get paid once a month...how do they expect us to EVER catch up! I could type alot more but I am just getting more angry everytime I think of how they treated me.
