Countrywide Home Loans run, run, run around Simi Valley California
Loan Modification is a joke. If there is anyone out there that has actually received a loan modificaion please, please let me know.
I have never missed or been late making our first and second mortgage payments. Our loan is due to adjust on September first. I have supplied Countrywide with a budget and a letter and everything else they instructed me to do. I called to see if anything was happening and was told that I had submitted everything to soon to call back. I have called back four times since. I called today and was told to re-submit everything again they needed it updated. I was livid. The kid that was reading their obvious script was laughing at me and stuck by his "do it again guns". I explained to him that I was trying to be pro-active and take care of things before my loan adjusts to the tune of another $942.00 a month. These people are a joke and don't seem to care how many houses they get back. I know they are being taken over by B of A, if they aren't going to help anyone they should just say so. I understand that they only help people that are behind, that's so stupid. All they have to do is modify our terms and we will keep paying them. I don't want to stop paying our mortgage and ruin our credit but we cannot afford the higher payment and will not be able to hang on to our house.
What now? What are all of you folks that are in the same shape as us doing? If anyone has an idea I would love to hear it.

We were in the same boat as you. And got the same run around from the same place. We finally got the modification but have had nothing but trouble since. I just finished filing a report look for it and read. I'm livid
