Countrywide Restorations - Marty Cororan , Countrywide Restorations Rick McKinney This company individuals will not complete work or perform shoddy work and will try to scam you out of more money. Office In Lakemoor Illinois
Countrywide Restorations will promise to complete work for the amount paid (settlement amount) by insurance company. They say they will waive the deductible amount and perform the work for no out of pocket expenses. This company is DECEPTIVE and DISHONEST, and their work is UNACCEPTABLE and TERRIBLE.
Upon "completion" of the work they walked around the property and said everything was complete and looked good. Upon closer inspection we realized they had not properly installed or secured the trim work around all electrical sockets, water spigots, windows and light fixtures. They all easily pull away from the rest of the siding and the light fixtures will just fall to the ground. The caulking around windows is incomplete and allows water to get between the house and the siding. It also makes us wonder how good a job they did with the rest of the siding. We have been calling repeatedly (and filed complaint with BBB) for the last 6 months asking them to come out and finish the work. Countrywide Restorations claim the insurance company will be sending a third check, but we have provided them with the full amount the insurance company settled for, and the amount Countrywide Restorations said the would do the work for in their written contract. We have also called the insurance company and confirmed there is not a 3rd check coming and that they have provided us with the full settlement amount. Countrywide Restorations repeatedly acknowledges the work is not complete and say they will be out within the next week to finish the work, but they never show up and its been almost six months since the siding installation started.
I would NOT recommend dealing with Countrywide Restorations for any roofing or siding projects. They are unreliable and do shoddy work!!!

we were out to your house and fixed your problem and the bbb said we were released from any liability at your home . We also did a follow up with the new owners of your home to check if all was ok and it was. You made a hansome profit on that insurance claim by keeping the final check, so why complain? The only people to loose was my company. You have comitted insurance fraud by not paying us the final money due to countrywide and for this you should be thanking us instead of complaining! We have finished thirtyfive out of a possable forty homes in your subdivision, and everyone else will recomend our work hands down . the only ones to complain are the crocks like you ,who take advantage of the insurance company , and not pay the final money . our company upgraded your house so you could sell it . our company Countrywide Restorations is a leader in this industry and will continue to be so dispite customers like you .I hope you had a nice vacation on us , enjoy your holidays .
