Where to begin? Let me just say please for your own good and for the good of the industry DO NOT chose this company. it all starts at the covenant convent in chatt where you will stay in a small and pourly maintained room with someone youve never met.

You will then meet the orintaion staff who will treat you more like cattle then people even telling you when youll use the rest room or your cell phone, being very rude and unhelpfull.

Should you fell the need to ask a question you will be snaped at and told to save it for your trainer, who will promply go to sleep after watching you drive for a few hours and often haveing little more experiance then yourself.(6 mounths is all thats required)

Now while this should have warned me to leave i am no quiter so i decieded to stick it outwith my trainer who ground the gears more then i did after a couple of weeks id love to go on in this fasion i fear it will be to long so the following is a rundown of the next 3 months with this co.

trainer quit halfway through 30 day training

sat at home for 2 weeks calling twice a day trying to get on a truck often on hold for 30min or more

at the end of 2 weeks i got a call asking if i was comeing back to work

next trainer wasnt to bad besides being a raceist fond of the "N"word complete with rebel flags on side of the truck(fun while driveing thru LA. or atlanta)

waiting to testout after that i spent 2more weeks at the termenal in tex. where i had to take advances out of my pay to stay in a local motel i couldnt get to without wadeing thru crack dealers and whores, even an attemted mugging by a one-legged man,no kidding.

i got to chatt by driveing a co. van that was pose to pick me up after 2 weeks of no pay (actualy one check was -8 the other -16

#2Consumer Suggestion

Thu, February 16, 2006

William, I take it that if you are with a trainer, you are a new driver. This scenario is all too commom among large companies, especially those who train or take recent school graduates. Although I really do not see the specific rip off here, I have heard from many drivers that Covenant is not a very good company, and employs a lot of lowlife. Now, a personal suggestion that is meant to help you. PLEASE go back to school and learn how to spell and choose proper wording. You will have much more credibility when posting here or anywhere, and your job prospects will be much better. Good luck
