My child was add to my coverage on 12/01/2014. My employer showed me the conformation letter from Coventry. I take my child to the Doctor on 01/15/2015 and was denied treatment. I called them and they said that no one had been added to my plan. I said why have you been charging me every week then. Coventry lady said talk to your employer. That is when they showed me the conformation. On 01/19/2015 my child got sick and had a fever. My employer said Coventry needed a copy of my kids birth certificate. I asked why I have never had them ask that with any other company. I gave them the SSN# and that will tell them everything. But my child was sick so I sent them a copy. I called Coventry today to see what was going on. They said my child is covered as of today. 01/20/2015 I said so it took 50 days to add her and you have been charging my since day one. This is not excitable at all. I asked the lady on the phone if she though it was was and she did not answer me. I asked to talk to the manager in charge today. Some lady named Karl got on the phone. ( i think that was here name I am not 100% sure I was pissed by this time.) Told her everything that has happened and I wanted to know why it took so long. She informed me that I would have to talk to enrollment. Also that they will only talk to my employer. I said my employer did not screw this up Coventry did this is b***s***. She said don't cause at me sir. I said this is bull crap then. I will but this all over the internet if you don't let me talk to someone. So here I am. Coventry is a crap company.
