Cozy's Cuts For Kids Overpriced, failed to follow instructions for child's haircut, rude, kept us waiting for 45 mins New York New York
We were 10 mins late and the receptionist scolded us and told us they had taken walk-ins so we would have to wait. We ended up waiting 45 minutes!
I asked the hairdresser, Kathy, to make sure to save me a lock of my 2-year-old's hair. It was her first haircut, and I wanted her baby hair as a keepsake. Then she started hacking away at her hair! I said, "What about my lock?" She pointed to the shreds she had placed on the table and said that's what she usually gave to parents.
Worse, she didn't even TOUCH my daughter's bangs! They were the same jagged mess that we had come in with (I had cut them originally). For what we paid, you'd think she could give a complete haircut.
The bill was over $30, which is more than I pay for my own haircuts. They did give my daughter a plastic thingy that probably costs 5 cents and acted as if they were doing us a big favor.
This place was totally cramped, not at all child-friendly, the haircut was mediocre at best, and it was a nasty, stressful experience that we could have lived without.
