C.R.C. Magazines I got scammed and I don't even know what to do virginia, Virginia
So one day I received a phone call for a telemarketer..and idk why but I picked up. That person was talking super fast...and I didn't really know what they were talking about. I'm 18 years old and still in school and work. At first I thought that I was paying like 10 bucks for magazines..and thought that I could cancel anytime I want. Well at least that's what they told me. A month later I started realizing that 60 something dollars was getting withdrawal out of my account every MONTH!. I called to see what was going on..and I called the CRC people to cancel..but they said I couldn't...I made a "deal" with them..so there was no way I can cancel unless I pay 1000 something dollars. So after talking to a really rude person I decided to take matters in my own hand and changed my account number so they couldn't get anymore money from me. But ever since I did that I been getting harassed with phone calls from them. Saying I have to pay..and if i didn't a collecting agency will come after me. I don't know what to do...if i had the money i would totally pay them off so i won't get bothered anymore...but i don't...now im stuck in this situation...and i feel like im stuck in it forever. Can someone please tell me what i can do..or say to get rid of these people!
