I am so glad to see other people are having issue. Credit Acceptance uses shady dealers. The dealer I used was actually sued by the attorney general for rolling back odometers in NY. I bought a car in 2003. It was a 98 olds acheiva with only 60,000 miles on it. Every other month in was in the shop for one reason or another until 1 year later the transmission died at 70,000 miles. I could not afford to fix it so I let them repo the car. I even called CAC to warn them about the dealership and they basically laughed at me. I need help now because they are suing me for the remainder. I do not know what to do!!!

Folks..CAC is brutal! I just tried to resolve my past balance with CAC's attorny's. They refused and they outright told me that they could get more out of me if they garnished my wages. Watch out-this company is out for blood. Now I have to contact an attorney because I refuse to pay!! There needs to be a class action lawsuit against CAC. I cannot go after the dealership because the owner has now been jailed! I'm in hell!!! Our attorney general in NY sued this dealership and CAC STILL did business with them
