Thank you for your input on the contract. I did read the fine print, the big print, and I even read between the lines. The fact of the matter is, I had made regular payments, needed to defer a payment, they agreed then repoed my car. I could understand it more if I had not contacted them, and just didn't pay. I know I'm a high risk consumer, thats why I was usuing them in the first place. They got their money from me in the end though so its no big deal anymore, I just know now not to contact them for anything. They did however put the money I paid to get my van back towards my account, so it worked out fine. Nevermind the headaches and inconveniences it caused, but I guess that was my fault for deferring a payment with them. I just wanted to let others know that DO NOT DEFER a payment with this company!

99% of the time lenders can repo or demand the total amount due if a payment in one day late. Most companies do not as it is bad business practices. You must remember that you as a customer are a risk and when the company feels that you are a risk they have a legal obligation to investors to reduce or eliminate that risk.

Hi, No company after being only two weeks late has the right to take your vehicle. You need to bring your paperwork to your attorney. You are in the right if your are telling the truth. They will need to pay your attorney fee's, the 800 and return your car. Period. Dont give up. I've financed over 500 vehicles with credit acceptance. This is the first one I've heard after only 2 weeks reposessed. That is wrong. The standard policy is after two months no payment received you'd get put on the repo list. call (((ROR REDACTED PHONE NUMBER FOR SECURITY PURPOSES))), ask for the collections dept. If you get nowhere call back and speak to customer service, be nice, explain in detail and ALWAYS write down the name and times! They record and/or make notes on your file. Have your account number too. I think they can reference it by your social number too. Be pleasant, ask for a supervisor if you get no results. Good luck, Steve (retired finance manager) (((ROR REDACTED E-MAIL ADDRESS FOR SECURITY PURPOSES))) CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report.
