Credit Acceptance Corp. SUPERVISORS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS ARE RUDE AND LIARS Southield Michigan
I have been lied to from reps from this company. Granted, I was late on my payment, but I purchased a money order and mailed it 2 weeks before due date. RCVD call that car will be repoed if I did not pay past due balance of 122.00. Paid it and sent confirmation. Repo guys show up at my door demanding car. I called CAC and supervisor informed me and the repo guys if I pay another 200 bucks it would clear the past due and my car would be given back to me. Did so and guess what...I do not have my car! I have to pay 375.00 repo fee to get my car...and get this, all of this took place on 7/10/09. I can not get my car until 7/13/09 because the vehicle recovery business is closed for the weekend. Not to mention that the reps for CAC are the rudest, non professional people I have encountered. Now I understand when a paymnet is late, they will call...but when payments are made and yoy still get harrassing calls. No one there will speak to you if you have to make arrangements, and if they screw up, it is still on the consumer. I will be glad when this fiasco is over!!

FYI, if you dont want the repo man at your door make your car payments BEFORE the repo man comes.
