In 2001 my car loan was sole to Crescent bank & Trust,at the time I didn't know, I had just had my son and was going through some rough times, I was on medication for depression & high blood pressure.I was late with my payments (I missed about 4 months of work) but, I was trying to catch up with my bills and I never missed a payment, I was just late. Crescent Bank never said anything about repo the car until August of 2002, when I was just owning about $5,000.00, then Mike R. started calling me just about everday (sometimes 4 & 5 times a day). I was late threating me about repoing the car and garishing my wages, I told him about my situation and the medication I was taking, and I also told him I felt like he was harassing me. Shortly after these phone calls with Mike, my car was repo, I called and spoke with his Department head about this situation, and he was very rude, he didn't let me explain or nothing, so I said fine, I file a complaint with LA BBB(no help). I rec'd a letter from the BBB in October of 2003(a month and half later), with only the bank side of the complaint and the letter they rec's from the bank, I wrote back to them stating I hadn't heard from the bank, or Ms. Renee Young, Vice President of Loan Compliance. Ms Young hadn't gotten in touch me before she sent misleading account information to the BBB. Now in Jan of 2003, not hearing from the bank in about 4 to 5 months, they are now calling againg wanting me to pay the balance and interest of the account which should have stop drawing interest when they repo the car from me, all these people who said they looked at my account should have aleast contacted me to at some point to see what my side of the story was. When I did call them back I got Ms R. Knight, who was really rude and didn't want to discuss my account with me, after I told her I thought the bank was unfair in their dealings.
