I sent the following letter to the Chief Executive Officer of Crescent Processing Company, AKA Diamond Processing Company
David, my name is XXXXXXXXX. Today was my first day working as a representative for your
company. I had issues with my assigned supervisor. I will explain what
happened, and then you can decide what to do with it. Rest assure,
I'll be sending the same information to the Better Business Bureau, as
well as other sites for businesses. Thank you for your time in at least
reading this email.
I spoke with Jason Cassuto this morning
concerning my first appointment. He provided me with the information
for the appointment. I asked him for the telephone number of the
business in the event I couldn't find it, or I was running late for any
reason. He responded like a snotty little child, "We don't give out
phone numbers. Didn't you read the email?" That set me off on the
wrong foot with him to begin with. I went to the appointment, and was
told that the person was not going to even be in for at least two
hours. I called Jason and explained this to him. He was cordial and
told me we could go back to that appointment. He then gave me a second
appointment. I went to that location, and it was a vacant business
posted for lease. I spoke with a neighboring business which told me the
business for the appointment had gone out of business. I called Jason
and informed him of this. He then, apparently against company policy,
gave me the telephone number to the company and told me to call them
myself. He told me to speak with the person who had accepted the
appointment, and find out if the business had moved. I called and spoke
with that person. During the call, I told her that I was at the old
business location, and needed the new location. That way I could come
speak with her. She told me at that time that she was no longer
interested, and the company was happy with the service provider they
had. They had been using them for 20 years, and they had no thoughts of
changing companies.
I called Jason back and told him that. He
immediately began acting like a spoiled brat again. He chastised me for
how I spoke to the lady. He told me that I should never tell them that
I'm calling from Crescent Processing. When I tried to speak with him
about it, he either hung up on me, or we became disconnected. I
immediately called him back, and he placed me on hold. Eventually,
another service manager, possibly XXXXXX, answered the phone. He told me
that Jason would call me back in two minutes. I waited in the parking
lot of the appointment location for approximately 15 minutes. He never
called me back. At that time, I drove home. I called him from home to
speak with him. I told him that he had been treating me
unprofessionally. I then told him he had two options.
Option
number one. He was going to treat me professionally, with courtesy, and
with respect. If he was unable to do that, I would send back the
laptop and he could shove it up his a**. He said everything would have
been fine if I had not given him option number two. I then called and
spoke with his supervisor, David Nguyen, who claimed to have no idea who
I was, and had over 300 sales reps and supervisors. I told him the
conversation I had with Jason. He then told me he had already heard
Jason's side of the story. How is it that if he had just spoken with
Jason about me, that he had no idea who I was, or who Jason was? Again,
not professional. He told me he could set me up with another sales
manager, but not if I was going to act the way I did with Jason.
Let
me tell you. I'm a grown man. I'm a retired police officer. I've
worked in retail for years prior to my service with the police
department. Those two individuals are about as unprofessional as I've
met in my experience here on Earth. I'm not intimidated by anyone in
person, let alone some punk kid on the telephone in a different state.
This is ridiculous. I will not tolerate it. PERIOD!!!
I hereby
give you my written notice that I do not want to be employed by your
company. I want nothing to do with your company. With the kind of
individuals I spoke with today, I am not surprised that your company
closes down and opens up under new names. I'm surprised that your
company can stay in business at all.
I am now taking the
computer, power supply, and signature pad; re-packaging it in the
original box, placing the Fed Ex shipping label on it, and shipping it
back to you. I want there to be no mistake that I'm shipping it back
and terminating my employment with your company.
Good luck with
your business.
Sincerely,
XXXXXXXX
