I took a 2003 Infiniti Q-45 to Crest Infiniti Service Dept. on Jan. 3rd 2007 because of electrical problems and the car was still under factory warranty. They called back a couple days later and said the car needed a fuse block and they would order it.

On Jan. 15th 2007 I called Crest to find out the status of the Q-45 and was told they were still waiting on the part. On Jan. 29th 2007 I called Crest again about the Q-45 and was told the part was on back order and they were waiting for Infiniti to ship it.

On or about Feb 8th 2007 I called and talked to Crest's Parts Manager about the amount of time it was taking to get this part. He told me he would check into it and call me back. He did call me back and told me Infiniti's target date to get him the part was March 13th 2007 but that the part would probably arrive before that. Well LUCKY ME the part did arrive around Feb 14th 2007.

Crest Infinti Service called me around Feb 15th 2007 and said the part was installed but that did not correct the problem, that the car needed a control module and I told them to replace it. Crest's service dept called me on Feb 19th 2007 and said the Q-45 was ready and the bill was 901.97 because the part failure was caused by water damage. That was news to me since they had not said anything about this when they told me it needed to be replaced.

On Feb 21st 2007 I called Infinti Customer Service and explained the situation to their representative who said I would hear from her within 48 hfs. after not hearing from her in that time frame I called Infiniti back on Feb 29th 2007 and left a message. She called me back and said because the dealer said the part failure was caused by water damage there was nothing Infiniti could do.

Over 6 weeks to get a part and Crest nor Infiniti offerd to do anything to offset the cost or to compensate for loss of use of the Q-45. I do not believe I will be doing any future business with Crest or Infiniti.
