Cross Country Bank They lied to me!!!
I admitt I was late on my payments. I was getting my tax return back and was going to pay these rip-offs in full. I told the lady at ccb that I wanted to pay-off the account in full the next week. She said that I would recieve more late charges unless I did a post dated check by phone, so I did this for the amopunt that was currently due. The next week I was to call them back (which I have to pay for the call) to cancel the check that I had them to post date and do a different one for the pay off amount. They took both checks from my account and I still had to pay late fee's after I was told that I would not. I was so upset I just sat on the phone and cried. I am in the process of buying a home. I was so mad when the payoff amount went up over $100.00 in just a few days. I was even looking at a bill that they had just sent me and they told me that their records did not show that amount and that it was a mis-print. I will bash these people into they go out of bussiness, I get my $ back, or I die one.
