Crown Diamonds Ripoff Fraudulent Acts and lawsuits Fullerton California
I opened my account with crown diamonds several years ago, and my payments were outrageous. As years went by I had financial hardship so I asked requested smaller payments, they never responded not even their attorney. They sued me in small claims court and the case got dismissed. I was never made aware of this lawsuit until after the fact, received a message on the phone with the case number, so I called different courts. Then, few months went by and I sent them payments, not much but something. After that I was served with a wage garnishment, I did not even know about the lawsuit! They won a judgement against me in a county I do not even reside in. There process server lied on the proof of service and said I accepted service. I was at my place of work at the time I was supposedly served, I don't know how that could have been when I do not live there and don't know the people that do. So now I am having my day in court so the Judge can hear my story. I feel they should not be able to get away with all the lies and deceit. And apparently they already wrote off my account, but yet still trying to collect on it. They put that I could not be located when I was making payments to them all along.
