BUYER BEWARE! We had them come out and do our landscape edging today. They just left and I was so mad at the work they did and the fact I was lied too. They came out and told us it was 97ft of edging and NO MORE then $686 this was guarantied but the lady that did the estimate. She even made the comment "It might even be less!".

So they finish the work and I get my bill $982?! WHAT?! They explained they needed an extra 40 feet for something he didn't speak very good english. I called the office immediately and she said she was sorry there was nothing she could do. If they laid 40ft more then i was guarantied I had to pay.

After 20 min of her being very rude I was ready for her to have the crew turn around and rip it up. She said she could give me 15% off so I paid $834 which was $150 more then I was told it was going to be.

When they came out it was not an estimate she measured with her tape measure on a wheel and guarantied it too me! The quality of work was ok but, I have dried concrete up and down my side walks I guess from there boots that won't come off.

So I am $150 poorer then I thought I would be and have a sidewalk that looks like an oddly colored dalmatian! BUYER BEWARE!!

June 11, 2008 Dear consumer, Having just become aware of this unjust posting, I am responding to defend the reputation of my business. Let me start off by stating that Curbmaster has been in business for over 20 years and has thousands of satisfied customers in the DFW metroplex. We built our business on customer satisfaction and quality and strive for the very best in everything we do. Unfortunately some customers can't be pleased no matter what you do. It is a shame that a consumer without notice or facts can make a false statement about a business, causing it harm, with no recourse by the business. This customer was not happy simply because we billed them for work that they added (over the original estimate) the day we performed their installation. Our estimate specifically states that the job will be measured at the time of installation and the customer billed accordingly, it is called an estimate for a reason. If you order it, you pay for it, this is only fair. Furthermore, to satisfy this customer we took $150.00 off his bill and obviously he still was not happy. In fact, the customer was pleased enough with the job and refund that he paid for his services that day, but later decided to write this unfounded report on my business. If you read this report, the customer makes several slanderous attacks on my employees and business practices that I should sue him for damage and slander. A few of my employees are of Hispanic heritage and do speak English well. We do not measure with a "tape measure on a wheel", it is a calibrated measuring device. Construction company's and home inspectors use such a device to measure linear footage, just as we do. Lastly, we are respectful of all customers and treat each with respect.
