I use to work at Topaz Financial Services and I would not recommend anybody to sign up with them. RUN AND HIDE. First of all, it is one of four companies all owed by the same owner under different names. There is Topaz Financial Services, Swift Rock Financial Services, Mesa Rock Financial Services, and Cy debt. They profess to be a company based on Christian Principles but they are prey on people in bad situations. They charge an astromonically high service fee of 15% of your debt and a monthly fee of $74.95 to settle your debt. What they don't tell you is that anybody can call their creditors and settle for about the same precentage. Additionally, they don't tell the customer that there is a chance the can be sued, have liens placed on them, and have their wages garnished. They prey on vunerable people with debt, charge them a outrageous service fee and don't tell them about the possibilty that they can be sued. It is buried in the service agreement that the Topaz Representative rushes the client through while filling it out over the phone. When I worked there I encountered service people that got sued and had their wages garnished. Additionally, they are decietful to the employees and treat them like trash. Additionally, your first 6 payment and most of your 7-12 payment go to Topaz high fees. Your credit don't get any money until after 13 months. I would never go business with this company.

Sorry to hear about your situation. As an ex employee I heard this same story before. This company operates under different names in different cities to hide shady reputation. Did they quote the "christian principles" ? All they care about is the bottom line. Unfortunately there are many clients and employees finding out the hard way. Pass the word. Run Away!
