i saw a pug puppy on oodle so i bought it for my wife . i wanted proof of shipment first so he sent a u ship report of transpot to my home saying he allready paid for the shpping . i money gram him the money. he said i should get the puppy by 9 am. 9 am came no puppy . then i got an email saying that the puppy was being held up at an airport for no insurance. it said i needed to pay $700 for insurance and they would release the dog for delivery. well i didnt pay for the insurance. and no dog. i have every text and email and every number givin to me.

This is a long running scam. If you go to the FTC website you can read all about it. The biggest red flag is that you had to money gram the money. This scam can get quite involved with you sending money each step of the way and never actually getting the puppy. Thankfully you caught on early in the process - find the FTC website and look up what you need to do. It is a real shame because it is highly unlikely that you will be able to recover your funds from this scammer.
