On January 31st, 2015 we contracted Plaza Contractors Inc. to remodel the front of our warehouse. We gave Daniel Dean a deposit of almost 4K which was half of the contract price. Plaza agreed to complete the job within 30 days. They didn't. They did some preliminary work and then never came back. We repeatedly requested that they fulfill their contractual obligations but they refused. Initially we did not understand their actions. A little investigation, however, revealed the truth. The records of Sunbiz show that before Plaza ever quoted the job they had officially authorized the dissolution of the company. So, they took our deposit, showed up to do some preliminary work and then ran off with the rest of our deposit. Beware shortly after dissolving Plaza Contractors he formed Plaza Builders Inc.
