Darc Ops Armory Scam, Theifs, Fake company Shawnee Oklahoma
Back in June of 2016 I placed an order for a custom Savage 110BA from Darc Ops. I was told it would take aprox 6 weeks to complete and have sent to me (I am also a FFL dealer). After reviewing thier FFL information, and sending them mine, everything seemed fine. I would check in periodically, and they said therer was a delay with the painter.
After 5-6 weeks of not hearing an update, I reached out again, and they said the same thing so I asked for a refund as I was scheduled to leave for a deployment with the Air Force. Justin (the owner) informed me that they had just been hacked and it would take them a few weeks to process the refund. I decided since I would be leaving later that week that I would let them finish my order and hold on to it until I was due to return (next week).
I contacted them in October and Justin assured me that everything was fine and the rifle would be waiting for me when I returned. Two weeks ago, I sent an email following up, and no response. Today, I tried calling their number and it phone was disconnected. This company is nothing but a scam, do not buy anything from them.
I am currently in contact with my bank trying to recover the funds I sent them, and I will be filing a report with the ATF to pull their FFL.
