Darlene Morin preys on international students for room rentals and rips them off. Ann Arbor, Michigan
Darlene takes in foreign borders as a host family. she uses them primarily for the income and does not provide the services she promises. She will request a deposit that you will not get back. once she has your money she will complain constantly about her borders with unbelievable requests and attempts to control them.
Our friend from Itally was only with her for two weeks and she failed to provide him decent meals and a ride tot the Ann Arbor bus stop as paid and promised. our FREUND was left twice for multiple hours without a ride and Darlene never answered the phone when called.
When he had enough and simply wanted to ,ove out she refused to give him his 500.00 deposit back. She ripped him off for 1000.00 for 16 days of a single room rental. now she won't return his calls and has really left him in a difficult position.
She is advertising on Craigslist for her next victim so boarders beware.
