I am complaining against this company. Apparent, i owed a payday loan since 2014 I was not able to repay because I went into financial hardship and I was not working while I was caring for my 8 year old daughter at the time. These people contacted my brother in USA on Apirl 23, 2018 and left him a voice mail recording message about my debt and a reference number.

Apparently , I had changed my number last year and they found my number and was calling me before but I was still in a financial struggle and the most deadly thing about this is that I spoke with them on April 23, 2018 and someone answered at 10:30 pm and I called to find out what company it is, and I was hoping to get a recording after I spoke to my brother that specific evening.

This man answered and asking me to verify information in order to complete the process at 10:45m pm in the night we had a chat, I advised him that I am not in a financial position to repay. He disrecarded my comment and stated three times. How do you expect to resolve this issue. I also asked the representative why was my brother called and where he got that number, and he advised me that there was no other number on file just (((REDACTED))) and (((REDACTED))) (Old Number) and maybe the number was given before. I advised him I do not recall.

I felt annoyed and I almost got into an argument with him and I advised him this is illegal to call another personès family and leaving a voice mail message requesting Patrice Chisholm to call about my file. I actually borrowed $300 now it is at $600.00. I viewed a report by another consumer William I believe and I was encouraged to proceed with this report. They are a ripoff and not following legal practices towards their consumers. Who speaks to a person at 10:30pm in the evening. This is a nooooo no

Patrice- Very annoyed with this company practices.

What you described in the complaint is standard procedure. You for whatever reason stopped paying the loan. Unfortunately, excuses will not negate your responsibility on the matter. You agreed to borrow money and failure to pay often results in collections agencies. Your statement “i owed a payday loan since 2014 I was not able to repay because I went into financial hardship and I was not working while I was caring for my 8 year old daughter at the time” This is not a defense. It’s an excuse that millions of people also deal with and still handle their responsibility. Why didn’t you call the company to get on a financial hardship program? It would be a good idea to call and get on a repayment program before wages are garnished. I’m not seeing any fraud except a sob story that millions work with. You then stated, “I spoke with them on April 23, 2018 and someone answered at 10:30 pm and I called to find out what company it is, and I was hoping to get a recording after I spoke to my brother that specific evening.” Yet you then stated you made the call here ”  I viewed a report by another consumer William I believe and I was encouraged to proceed with this report. They are a ripoff and not following legal practices towards their consumers. Who speaks to a person at 10:30pm in the evening. This is a nooooo no” < You called them.

Actually, a no-no is not handling your responsibilities. Why should responsible loan borrowers with the same problems “sick child, parent, sob story” pay for your responsibility? Through high interest rates on those who want it easy.

You’re an adult, take care of it.
