I started with debt relievers over the summer thinking it was a great way to pay off my credit card debts. The woman made it seem like I would have everything paid off in 3 1/2 years and would only have to pay $180 a month. This sounded great.

Well, after a month or so, I noticed that my credit card companies were sending me late fees because debt relievers didn't pay them. I called the companies and they said either they never received a proposal or they denied the proposal. Because of all of this I had to pay the late fee plus what ever was owed on all three credit cards. And now, because of the increased APR, I swear I've added at least $500 to my debt.

I cancelled with debt relievers and they told me that I wouldn't get my money back. I was so irate, that I just wanted to end with them. The funny thing is, they asked me why I wanted to end my service with them. Gee, maybe because you are ripping me off. I know that I created this debt for myself as a young adult, but how can you mess with all these people. I didn't know that so many people were out there. If you need debt consolidation, do not use debt relievers. I repeat, do not. It will make you end up worse in the end and you won't get your money back.

I worked for this company. I had to leave due to all the lieing to the customers and the rampant drug use. The man who owns this company is the worst lawyer I have ever met. He will not return a dime even when his emplotees are wrong or have given the wrong information to a client. They keep your first pay and wait 60 -90 days to contact your creditors. They list themselves as a non for profit organization. If that is so why does the salesperson get 25-30 percent of YOUR first pay?. The company also gets kickbacks from the creditors...they call it fairshare. By Law they are supposed to tell you this. Anyone ever been told? I doubt it.They are a true rip off. Stay away from this company or you will get screwed. Ex manager and glad to be gone
