I would just like to inform EVERYBODY out there NOT to enroll wiht DEBTXS or any credit consolidation program for this matter. They are a comlete and TOTAL ripoff. You can always neogiate something with your credit companies and work something out and would I have know this before hand I would have done that BUT DEBTXS told me NEVER To talk to my creditors.

DO NOT answer the phone when they call. Ignore them, they will go away. Yes they were right. They did go away and so did my credit. I have had my credit DESTROYED by DEBTXS. I CAN NOT receive any credit. I CAN NOT refinance my house. NOTHING!!!!

These people sat on my account for months and NEVER even contacted my credit companies like they were supposed after my first initial payment, which was almost $200, to tell them I was enrolled with their program and I was going to work on settling my accounts.

To make matters worse Pete Villasenor who was handling my account left the company not to much longer after he enrolled me and my emails and faxes were totally left untouched! Not to mention when I enrolled he did not tell me that the money that I was paying every month was going towards them and NOT towards settling my accounts!

So I also thought this whole time I was saving money towards my debt but I was paying DEBTXS. Not one person from the company contacted me, so if I was not paying attention or wondering what was going on god knows how much money they would have ripped me off. When I finally figured out what was NOT going on and canceled any further transactions with DEBTXS, Jacob Hendrickson, the client relations manager, actually told me NOT to call there company anymore.

All their client relations people would tell me different things everytime I called and needed a question answered. I had so many unanswered questions and no one to answer them. The owner of the company would take FOREVER to email me with any kind of answer. I have all kinds of documentation that I was taken over by DEBTXS! I did end up getting some of my money back that I paid them BUT How do I get my credit fixed which matters to me more than the money?

Anyone have any answers to help or do you recommend me getting a lawyer? I have already reported them to the Attorney General's Office and BBB.

I to have been ripped off by DebtXS. But not as bad as some of the consumer's reports I have read. I was blessed to find an honest employee in the company, whom I found out later was terminated because of his honesty and love for mankind. I talked to the Joe Martinez's and Jacob Hendrickson's of the company and never did get a call from Leah Young , until I talked to Phillip Robertson. He was in the "Litigation Department" in DebtXs. He told me up front, he was not an attorney, but I remember he had been in law enforcement for several years. He would return all my calls and e-mails, not like the other employees and I bet he did the same for others. I was sued and he was able to settle the accounts out of court for almost 50% or more. He told me what I needed to do with the other accounts and I left DebtXS and got my refund. I followed his advice and now I have been debt free for several years. I know he was doing this for other clients of DebtXS. I pray he is doing well.

www.fire-inc.net I have been a member of Financial Independence & Resource Education, Inc. for a little less than 2 years and in that time 2 they have saved me over $15000 in settlements. They also have me enrolled in a "CREDIT CORRECTIONS" program and my FICO score went from 525 to 650 in less than 2 years. This company has kept me informed all along the way with their customer service department. I have received my credit score in the mail every 3 months so I could see how they are progressing. My best advice is to educate yourself on all of the options available and hopefully you will find a company that can help you like I did.
