I rented from them for 1 year but was promised to renew. I was told I was a very good tenant. They created all types of charges to keep my deposite. I agree with some of the charges and I should not receive full deposit.
But I had the house professionally cleaned but they charged 500 dollars for cleaning. I mistakenly took the garage opener because it was in my car and brackets that hold the TV on the wall I called them to inform them that I did have them and I was told they would contact me and let me know if I should return them to the home or bring them to the office.
Harumi Russell is the person that made those remarks, instead she charged me for them. There are other charges that are not correct. They took about 3000 from me with some without cause.

Dear Mary,
I would like to respond to your post. Let me first say that Del Val Realty & Property Management takes all concerns seriously. I am confused a bit though. You noted we created all types of charges to keep your deposit but then go on to admit at least some of these you agree with.
Del Val is not in the practice of manufacturing fictitious charges to keep security deposit. Any security deposit charged against damages do not belong to Del Val, it goes to the owner of the property, so to say we keep your deposit is not accurate.
Regarding Harumi Russel, she wrote a letter as per her duties based on information conveyed to her as a result of a move out inspection. She has nothing to do with assessing damages or charges so to say she charged you is incorrect.
What charges to you believe to be incorrect? I am happy to review them and compare them to the pictures that were taken. Regarding the garage opener and tv brackets, you were not charged for them.
Sincerely,
Alan silverman, COO
