Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In February of 2002 I recieved a letter from the IRS stating that I had been audited back to 1982 and they found that I had not paid taxes for the year 1987, I assured them I had but that wasn't good enough. They also informed me that they were going to start garnishing my wages if I didn't take care of it immediately. The total amount was just under $10,000.00

I had seen adds for J.K. Harris and Associates on T.V. and thought they might be able to help. I set up and appointment for late March and met with one of their representatives who informed me that they could definetly help, all I had to do was give them some money down(about $1,000.00) and make payments on the balance through monthly withdrawels from my bank account. For this they were assuring me that they would make arrangemnts with the IRS so that my wages wouldn't be garnished and I would pay only pennies on the dollar to take care of it.

Less than 2 weeks later my employer recieved a notice of garnishment from the IRS, I tried on numerous occasions to contact JK Harris and they would not return calls.

When I finally did get someone to talk to me I was informed that my case worker left and took all of the documentation that I submitted to her, I had to start all over.

This went on for months, during that time I was having over $800.00 deducted from my pay check WEEKLY, in fact I paid the IRS over $9,000.00 in back taxes, this included interrest and penalties in about 12 weeks with absolutely no support from JK Harris. When I called and asked for a refund they told me to file a complaint with their main office and they would gladly work with me on it. I have not heard from them in months and don't expect I will. They're more slippery than wet eel. I asked the company that is trying to extract money from my bank account to stop or I'd take legal action. They did stop, but now I'm getting letters and calls from them to pay off the bill or they will ruin my credit. What can I do? Is there anyone else that is having this happening to them, if there is what's next? Help!!!

I could have worked with the IRS at the beginning and made payemnts but the JK Harris representative told me "you don't want to do that if we can take care of this for you and you have our word that we can and will help" I listened and it cost me an additional $2,400.00. or more. If there is a group of people that is going to attempt to stop them from screwing people I want to support that group, tell me how and what I can do and you will get my full cooperation.
