Dermedica XR Clear scam to take money on a recurring charge... starting with free offer Savannah Georgia
One evening I saw a pop up add for the product DermedicaXR. Natural cutiousity led me to the click the advertisement. I read about how AMAZING!!!( the ad said) it was. I can't believe i thought about ordering the product. But before pulling the trigger for purchase I visited the ebay website just to see if the product was available for purchase and surprising found it. I thought to myself this was a product that was nothing special so I decided not to order it. Does this company have a way of making you order and pay for the prduct even if you do not click the "purchase" button.... This is truly deceitful and dishonest.
They also pull the scam of delaying the product so when its delivered it is WAYYY too late to refuse the product in a timly manner. They claim you have 14 days to call them to cancel. They say I ordered the product on August 13, 2017. However the first product was not delivered until Oct 2017. This company is highly manipulative and deceitful.
I was unclear what was going on for a very long time. It was Oct. 2017 before I became concerned about these mysterious packages. I called my Visa company and asked if there were any recurring cc charges. They claimed they didnt see any. so odd
It was Dec the 3rd of 2017 by the time we gave these scammers a call. This was due to delaying the shipping on the product. My husband googled the product name and Thank God got their contact info. Once we called them they calimed they sent four jars , we only have 3. They claim they can only give a refund of 49.36, a 50% refund on the products. Thus on 3 jars that is a total of 148.08. They also claim once 3 jars are ruturned they will refund the remaining portion. Which the represenative claims is a total of 296.16
However, they chargered us for 4 ...okay . Bascially it's a scam to ROB you out of 98.72. This is how they do it. Follow me... Basically we were charged 399.83 for the product we didnt want and didnt order. Once we contacted the call center representative and questioned the charges it was explained that we could return 3 jars for a 50% refund. Well, if they claim we had four jars of their product hy only return 3 jars? so lets do the math. The company charged 98.72? jar...and they claim they shipped 4 . Why return 3 out of the 4? When returning 3 jars the refund amount adds up to 296.16 as the representative said. Nothing wrong with the math. It works. However, when I questioned the rep on the fact that i was shipped only 3 jars and there is no 4th jar as they claimed , and frankly i thought it was odd that the company only wanted me to ship 3 jars back and not 4 so that I may receive a full refund the rep immediately hung up on me. How odd!? Honestly, I feel they set the ordering and shipping up to scam the customer out of 98.72 the price of one jar of product. Which, let me reiterate that I only partially filled out the order form and NEVER clicked on the order product button...SCARY!
Something is fishy and does not add up. Please do not do business with this company. You and our walet will regret it.
