With ONE phone conversation, I can say this "professional" does not direct her conversation well and is NOT professional. First, she called me with her mouth full, on her lunch. It's nice that you take your personal time to call a potential patient. Better to not do it with your mouth full. Great first impression... She asked what questions I had, then pretty much asked if I felt she could help me, several times, wanting to book right then, with out giving me much info concerning how she might help me. That's a consult? I felt the conversation had little direction. I then inquired about insurance (I'm on a tight budget). My insurance had already misquoted her - I understand that is frustrating for her. However, she gave indirect answers without giving me any real direction to find out what I needed to know to be confident setting up an appointment with her. I started becoming frustrated, feeling like she was sending me back to my insurance who would send me back to her - I hate back and forth. She became frustrated (good job, professional counselor), and told me this was not a part of her job and I was wasting her time. Serious? I'm wasting *your* time, inquiring if you might want my money to help me balance my life? Are you kidding me?? Taking care of your potential patients concerns is not a part of your job? I'm wasting your time?? I'm not giving you any more of my time to waste, much less my hard earned money, after you treat me like this on first conversation. Awesome. We agreed this was not a good fit. I'm glad if she was a good fit for you and has helped you, but wow, my first (and last) impression and experience with her was completely incompetent, unprofessional, bad bedside manner. I know she must have value, but I sure as heck will not be seeing her. Take care of your patients, with patience and respect - did not happen today. I'm "wasting" my time with this review, so perhaps someone else may choose to not waste their time with this "professional." Good luck.
