D&H Crafts - Richard Mills SCAM! Took 9 Mths to receive product and it was cheap & horrible! Danbury Iowa
I inquired about a tack trunk from the Mills (D&H Crafts) off of Ebay. Mr. Mills convinced me to purchase the trunk outside of Ebay, therefore saving us both money and stupidly I did it. He explained it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery, which was fine.
NINE MONTHS LATER, after having to send weekly harrassing emails and phone calls, I finally received my trunk, wrapped in paper-thin cardboard, therefore it had shipping damage. Even overlooking the shipping damage, the trunk was cheaply built, not what I requested or what was shown on his website, and is a disgrace! He would not refund any money or file a claim due to damage during shipping (I am sure he knew insurance would not cover it due to the cheap way he shipped it). I am now out $400 and stuck with an ugly, cheaply made tack trunk that cannot be used. The lid was made so flimsy that if any weight would be set on it, it would break. He has now taken his website down, and does not answer phone calls or emails. I reported him to the BBB, and Consumer Trade Federation.
