When I signed up for service they offered me a deal which they later changed. They also said I needed to pay $19.00 for shipping the equipment. They asked for my card. I told them under NO circumstances this one time use was just that and they were not to use this card for anything else. I did this because of prior bad experiences.

A few days later a guy showed up at my house and installed the equipment. He also drilled holes in the walls of three rooms for phone jacks and then hooked the phone jacks to each and every receiver without my knowledge or consent.

I never got anything in the mail from the supposed shipment, so they lied.

Then they began charging my card every month at the end of the month for service. I am a disabled vet and get paid but once per month on the 1st. Who has money left at the end of the month? Where did they get permission to charge my ATM card for these charges as I was explicit about not ever using the card again. I never got a bill from the until they changed the price, doubling it.

I called them and complained about the price and them using my bank card illegally. They promised it would stop and they would change my due date.

They did not. They tried to charge me 5 more times. I called them and told them to come get their equipment or send shipping labels as I saved the boxes. They continued to charge me, amassing a $300 some dollar bill. Now they are trying to collect $250.00 Their Indians (India) call me after 8pm at night and before 8am for weeks. Most don't even understand English. They have called my son and others complaining about me not paying my bill.

I went to DISH and they have been ok so far...

India and the Phillipines are still calling and playing music to me trying to collect money.

When you had it installed, they had you sign a form. It locked you in to a 2 year agreement. if you cancel, the will collect early termination fees. If the equipment is not sent back, they'll charge you for it too. They are a horrible company to deal with. Be wary, if you don't get this resolved they will turn it all over to collections to sue you and put a blemish on your credit. Oh, that form they had you sign authorized the credit card charges too. Sneaky sneaky.
