Direcway.com(e-mail Addresses) ripoff on e-mail ISP international satellite
After purchasing Internet equipment for some $600 in January 2006 so I could get a good connection to the internet I have had the carpet pulled out from under me today. I retired december 31, 2005 and purchased direcway as there is no cable available and the dial up stinks in this area. I thought I would start up a few internet companies and do business with a fast system.
Today after i have sent my internet address to thousands of people in hudndreds of countries all over the world I get an E-mail from the [email protected]. that effective april 22 I will no longer have thee-amil address that I have circulated for some 3 months all over the world.
they have decided to give us a better product at the cost of us losing our e-mail addresses and not getting the mail forwarded after 24 days from now.
I would love to talk to a lawyer about filing a class action suit as it was in the contract that I get e-mail addresses and I was never told that there was a chance of it changing.
Could you imagine the ramifications if aol or msn did something like this. I can't even recreate the pathways to see whom I have given my e-mail address to in the passt 3 months but i am sure it is in the tens of thousands as I have web pages etc.
please step up and help with this.
another server changed from .net to .com but to this day still takes mail for you under both why couldn't direcway and hughes.net do the same.
