DiscountBookSale.com I ordered two books, which have been on on back order, and had 4 $1.00 charges on my credit card. Boca Ratan Florida
Discountbooksale.com is the same company as Smartsavingscenter.com. I purchased two books from this company w/free shipping and they automatically signed me up with this so called savings club. The books I ordered have been on back order for three weeks. When I looked at my credit card statement I found four (4) $1.00 charges from them in one day. They signed me up for a "savings club" without me realizing it and hit my card for four separate $1.00 charges.
When I called to cancel the order and to get a refund one the four $1.00 charges, they supposedly did cancel the book order, but wouldn't refund more than one of the $1.00 charges. Then we started to argue and I ended the call.
One dollar here, one dollar there, and then multiply that by how many people are like me that "thought" they were purchasing one or two discounted books and DiscountBookSale.com is making a lot of money off of extra charges.
This company is one to stay away from.
