Discounts Superstore This is a SCAM SCAM SCAM. Avoid at all cost. As indicated in previous complaints, the online service took my money through Paypal and never sent the laptop. Binghamton New York
I should have read all the complaints carefully before sending my money. I ordered a new Dell laptop that was hugely discounted (first red flag) and was told I needed to place the order through the chat forum to get the 10% discount. I was given a link to Paypal by the chat person and was told to click on it, insert an email address and send the required amount ($569). I was promised shipment confirmation within 3 days to include a tracking number and delivery within a week.
I never got a confirmation and after a week, I contacted them again by chat which is the only way to contact them. The same person - who goes by the name Martin - responded and said he would look into it. He never got back to me. My subsequent attempts to contact anyone through the chat failed. I called Paypal who told me that the link I was provided by the fraudster was a "Family and Friends" link and they couldn't help me. I'm out of $570. Is there any way I can get it back? Neither my bank nor Paypal is any help.
