Reading all Mattfast1's rebuttals is funny. He makes the case that it's NEVER dish network's fault! Listen if someone sees an advertisement on TV that says, call and get Dish Network they expect to deal with Dish Network. It's people like Mattfast1 that claim it's not Dish Network's fault that this person or that person called a contractor. Yet, Dish Network allows these "contractors" to set up and install these accounts. Resulting in complaints and comments like what you read on this site! Mattfast1, I'm gathering you love your job. I'm also gathering that with all your "knowledge" you should be a lawyer. You seem to slide on your stomach like one! You certainly sound like the rest of the snakes in that company. Dish Network's days of ripping off the consumer is almost over! Anyone that is interested in signing a electronic petition and/or physical petition, feel free to contact me with your name and service address. All information will be held in the strictest confidence until it's given to the Board of Directors of Dish Network! The more names the better... All emails will be forwarded to Dish Network so if you write, please give your complaint as clear as possible!!

This is not a complaint against Echostar. The only thing Echostar has done here is manufacture equipment and sell it to an unscrupulous retailer. If the computer store down the street completely destroys your computer while they're installing a copy of Microsoft Windows, do you try to sue Microsoft for the damages? No. This is the same level of control Echostar has over these companies that use shady sales techniques to get more customers.

Dish Network Authorized Retailer's Being an honest Employee Using Doesn't pay well . 1. Atoll Media Dish Network Retailer Based in Newport Beach CA 2. Apex Satellite Dish Network Retailer Based in Irvine CA at 546 Wald, Irvine Ca, 92618 Atoll Media, Newport Beach CA This is one Dish Networks Top Retailers they have some unwritten company policy's. We are not allow to give out the company name or phone number, and if someone asks where are location is its Portland Oregon. Apex Satellite, Irvine CA This company's phone system allows them to makes calls to consumers under a fake number on the consumer's call id. Has no system to maintain a DNC. I worked 10 hours a day taking 500 calls a day 90 percent of which was complaints and add me to your DNC. As an employee I was not allowed to give out Apex Satellites name over or our phone number. When I voiced my concerns the issues. I was fired and they basically paid me only 6 of about 35 sales. I still haven't been able to get paid on my sales. As a consumer this company forces you into the 18 month contract option and sneaks an additional contract of their own. The installers who are not all certified are basically trained to get the satellite on an the service activated which locks the consumer to the contract, I know this because not only was I employee but also a victim because our family decided to try out dish network. These company represent Dish Network, they are authorized by Dish Network who i am sure is well aware that they calls consumers and violate the DNC calls. However they choose to look the other I think a class action law suit against Echo Star is defiantly in order here. Yama

I believe why your requests are not getting any answers is because when you press whatever button it is to talk to someone, you are transferred to someone outside of the company that contacted you. Like the technicican that installs the dish service. If many of you read the Telephone Consumers Protection Act of 1991, you will find that you can file in small claims court against them just for sending you a prerecorded message. After a little digging, I found some information about these calls. Website is satellitesales.com The calls are originating from a company called IDC Solutions Inc. \ IDC Solutions LLC. \ A.K.A. Satellite Sales Address is: 26800 Laguna Hills Drive, Suite 100 Aliso Viejo, California 92656-2625 You should contact Echostar and let them know about this and you may be able to get all the contact information that you would need.

I have never ever had Dish and never will. There are far too many complaints about them. They have not right at all to contact me.

If you've done business with them before, I think they are exempt from the Do Not Call restrictions. Had the same issue with DirectTV which I used to have.

I too have been contacted by a person pitching for Dish Network. When I pointed out that I was on the do not call list, they informed me they were busy "updating their database". Since I have been on the do not call list for several years, how long does it take for Dish to update their "database" ?

I just went through the same thing with Verizon. They are aggressively promoting their new fiber optic service so I guess Satellite is aggressively trying to compete. I don't think the offender is actually Dish Network, I think it is just a reseller. Go to whocalled.us and enter the offending number. It will give you info on other complaints and allow you to file your own. Then enter your DNC list violation info.

i had a place that did that to me, what i did was tell them that i would sue him, his kids, wife mother, fother, brother, sisters, any other family members, his boss and all his family members. then i told him that i would call 911 and thell them that i was just called and the caller on the other end threatened to kill me and file charges against him personaly and see him arested for the death threat. then i said by the way i will never buy something from you so you will never make money off me so dont ever call me again. at the end of the call he thought i was crazy but they never called again. i would have sued him for the ammount that i could do because i am on the do not call back list, i wouldnt have called 911. if they call again ask where to send a bill for what ever the amount that you can bill them for legaly.

Although we are on the Do Not Call list, we have told them this. But instead of 2 to 3x a week, it was more like 2 to 3x per day 2 to 3x a week. It was from the same number you posted 510-355-0457. The worse being its automated at first and you must sit through all there promps and automation before you are even to a live person to tell them to take you off there call list. 3 times we asked to be removed. Fist Call: Excuse me sir, but can you please take us of your call list, we are on the Do Not Call list and we.. At this point he said whatever and hung up on me. Second Call: Please remove us from your call list. We already have DishNetwork, to which then he proceeds to ask a bunch of question if we are happy with our service. YES NOW STOP CALLING. Hung up on again. Third Call: BF asks to be removed, they treated him politly said they would remove us and never did. We have recieved 4 calls since asking 3x to be removed, its gotten to the point now we see whats on the caller ID and just do not anwser but our calls come all the way up to 10pm at night. Its very annoying esp. when you have small children in bed at 8:30pm and 9:30pm.
