Just like the other post.
A Hispanic Guy on a Nice Gray Chrysler 300 approach me with a very good deal at the parking lot of Walmart in Spring Texas, North of Houston. Since I recently bought a LDC TV I told him I was interested on a deal. He show me a magazine with a picture of the system and with a retail price of around $3500.00.
Right there I got suspicions. He told me a story that he got 2 of them for Christmas. That was a red flag. Who would buy your 2 $3000.00 sound systems. So, I told him I have never heard of that product before. I pull my cell phone and browse the internet right there on the spot. I told him I needed to go to the store buy if he would give me his cell phone number, I would call him back. His reply was He didn't have a phone.
Now, if you are selling a $3000.00 sound system for $500.00 and you don't want to give your cell phone for me for somebody contact you in the next couple of minutes. Something was definitively wrong here.
I told him to wait for me, that I was going inside the store to shop and to the ATM. Luckily my cell found this web site while I was shopping. When I went outside the guy was gone. I DIDN'T got scam this time. If you pay enough attention, and research the product before buying it, it could save you a headache.
