Dodgeland USA, United Dodgeland USA Charged me 700$ for Lo-Jack, wrote a letter saying it was installed and activated, my truck was stollen, LO-Jack wasnt installed Las Vegas Nevada
September 2006 I bought a 2004 Ford King cab FX4 pickup from Dodgeland USA. I was charged 700$ for LO-Jack, a tracking system that the police can track in the event a vehichle is stolen. I had no choice whether the truck came with it or not, I was told LO-Jack is installed in all of there vehichle. The 700$ charge was placed under the after market section of the contract. When I was sent my title information they included a paper that stated LO-Jack was installed but was deactivated, I had not signed this paper. Knowing that I payed 700$ for LO-Jack I called Dodgeland USA and asked why it was deactivated. They assured me it was a mistake and sent me a signed paper stating the LO-Jack was installed and is active also to keep this paper to prove it. October 2007 my truck was stolen, I informed the police it had LO-Jack. And of course it didnt work, it wasnt in the system, it wasnt even installed. I called Dodgeland USA, they said they are now United Dodgeland USA, and they cant be held accountable for what happend. After repeated calls that I made they said they would refund the 700$. The truck was found 3 days later, everything that was in the truck was gone, the crooks had drove it until it ran out of gas. There is damage to the truck, and they have keys to my house, and my garage door opener. I think they should be held accountable for damages, LO-Jack says it finds stolen vehichles within 15 minutes after its reported. Is the contract viod? I havent reported damages to my insurance because I dont want my premiums to go up. Help me!
