Don’t be fooled by the highly polished resume of Mr Don Carroll. Anyone can make a resume read much better than is reality. The guy cannot be trusted in the public company arena. A handshake with him is not a real handshake. Be careful engaging the guy because he can become like a cancer and not go away. Key points:
1. Untrustworthy
2. Dishonest
3. Crafty
4. Not a good person
5. Bent
6. Leaves people feeling rippedoff
7. Cost shareholders of public companies lots of money I notice there is a 249D from shareholders of Kogi Iron Limited (KFE) attempting to remove him and his associate Michael Tilley currently. With the above key points…im not surprised. Don’t be fooled…as he is far from "Bluechip" Don has extensive experience in the international resources business primarily in the marketing and development of minerals. In a career spanning 29 years with BHP Billiton, and prior to that Rio Tinto, he has held a number of senior positions including President BHP Billiton Japan, President BHP Billiton India and Group General Manager Marketing Asia based in Hong Kong.
He has been active in the development of coal, bauxite and iron ore resources as well as the marketing of most mineral and energy products. He has experience in the merger and acquisitions sector including the merger of BHP with Billiton. Prior to joining Terrain Capital Don was Vice President Investor Relations for BHP Billiton in Australia. He holds a degree in mining engineering from Sydney University and is a long-standing member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Just be careful engaging or appointing him to anything. All is warned....
