Just a simple google of his name, and the first thing that comes up are these links: a report from Arizona ROC (Registrar of Contractors) and a news article from AZ Central on Donald Libby.

There have been two Ripoff Reports on this man -- everything they said in their reports are true. Donald Libby presents himself to be sincere and friendly, and his concern with wanting to help people seemed genuine. This is his tactic in trying to gain trust with his victims and unfortunately, my family and I fell for it. He scammed us $7000 worth of appliances (fridge, blinds, shower doors). He never delivered them, trying as long as possible to prolong his deception with empty promises and assurance. For months Donald Libby and my family have been in contact -- calls and hundreds of text messages concerning the delivery of our appliances. It never came. We have given him more than enough time to give us back a refund. Of course by now we cannot trust anything he says, but still hung onto the chance that he would redeem himself and return what he owes us.

When we confronted him of his scam (after we found out there had been official reports on him), even with irrefutable evidence, he comes up with the most ridiculous lies on the spot. He is a smoothtalker and a compulsive liar -- always denying and shifting the blame onto everyone else, including my mom, saying that she was the one who started this... Absolutely shameless.

He has sent us deceptive photos of him and his "contacts", trying to convince us that our product is on the way.

One of the pictures was of him seemingly trying to hurry the fridge guy to deliver our stuff. If you look at the top, he is clearly sending this message to his son, Dalton Libby who is pretending to be the fridge guy. When we confronted him, he said: "Oh, everyone in my family is under the name 'Dalton Libby'" No. The name and number on top of your phone is the recipient of your text messages -- the person you are talking to.

Another text message says "Donnie, your last blinds arrived on friday.I have put you on the install schedule. I will check in the morning the schedule. I will let you know how fast we can be there. It will take 1 day for the install." Upon closer inspection, the text bubble is coming from the right side of the screen, and it has his profile picture on it. Meaning that Donnie was the one who sent the text message. He just typed in his name so it looks like he was the one receiving the message.
