Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Do not give DotHop.com your money! DotHop.com scammed me out of $9700 for traffic to my website! Google Analytics proved that dothop.com was sending my website all the traffic they promised but I never saw any conversions so I figured with all that traffic there must just be a problem with the conversion tracking... wrong! It took a year for me to figure out that all the traffic was coming in within a couple of hours late at night/early morning (10pm-3am 94.5%.) and almost none was coming in when a normal customer would be searching during the day. When I finally understood I was being scammed and addressed the issue with the sales guy he said I just needed to change the settings in their portal so they would only advertise during the hours I wanted. Nice try!

There is no possible way dothop.com was able to find hundreds of people in the US searching for my key word terms between 10pm - 3am every day. I have a very nitch product and I could imagine a few insomniacs searching for my products but not hundreds! Google says on their site 74,750 searches were made for my terms on Google's site. Dothop.com claims they were able to get me 43,984 clicks on their site and other partner sites over the same period of time. Does anyone else see a problem here? Dothop.com claimed I only received 3.2915% of the searches "clicks" (CTR.) They are claiming 2,271,001 searches were made for my 15 key word terms over 13 months, when the largest search engine only had 74,750.  Dothop.com is a total scam!

It was easy to get fooled by their fraud; they have a legitimate looking website, sales rep that spoke fluent English without an accent and Google Analytics showed the search traffic. If my company could make money on search traffic instead of sales I would be set.

Run as fast as you can if you get approached by this company!

Dothop.com I want my money back!

Greetings,

Sir I understand you spent $100 with DotHop and feel you didn't see any results.  I am sorry to hear that.  In defense most people searching for products or services rarely purchase on the onset of visiting your website even with Google (4%).  You can track using Google Analytics every visitor.  Also many return at a later time to purchase.  But if you are converting 1 out of every 20 clicks than you are doing well and should keep advertising with that supplier.

DotHop values its clients and if you truly felt this way all you had to do was call in 1-800-883-7712.  One Hundred isn't that much traffic to really just throw in the towel and bash DotHop.  At the end of the day it's advertising and noone can make someone purchase from your website.  DotHop does run analytics, and click forensics on every click to deliver the best quality traffic.  Just call in and talk to the customer service department explain your situation and I am sure you will see that DotHop does have a return policy and would have no problems giving you a full refund.

Dothop has thousands of clients that are doing very well and look for companies like yours for the long term relationship.

A salesman talked me into spending $100 by saying he would match my $100 and I would get a certain number of hits (I don't remember the actual number) on my website. I know this is small potatoes but I'm a sole proprietor and I usually get 40-100 or so hits a day, so I thought it sounded OK.

I did receive the number of hits he promised me, which resulted in an abnormal amount of traffic for my website within a few days, but I did not receive a proportional number of inquiries about my products (in fact so far as I know I didn't receive any...)

I am used to every 20 or so hits resulting in an email inquiring more information, which I can more often than not convert to a sale. But with the Redzee hits I got (so far as I can discern) zero inquiries from potential customers.

My suspicion is that the clicks I received were not genuine clicks from human beings who were interested in my products and services. Since then salesmen have called me numerous times to try and talk me into spending more money (despite me asking each time that they not call any more...)

Funny that Google, the most popular and most effective search engine, doesn't have salespeople calling on their customers.

I'm not accusing Redzee of anything, because I have no evidence but I will never pay them another nickel.
