DR David L Snyder Optometrist Bought a stamp then 30 days later come up with a problem it and got paypal to make me eat it Alhambra California
Mr Snyder purchased a stamp from me on ebay with a no return policy with a enlarged photo of the item. The stamp was mailed out 2 days after the sale (Sept 5th) and after not hearing one word from Mr Snyder I left a glowing feed back for him on Ebay Sept 12th. With out no email or notice of any kind I get a nasty letter (post marked Sept 24th) with a stamp inclosed telling me I ripped him off. This stamp was a used stamp and was so listed as used.
He demaned I return his money and then threated me. In his statement he told paypal that it was mailed back on (Sept 20) which is not true it was post marked 24th. Mr Snyder never asked one question or for any other photos of the stamp. I can not say 100% that I even got the same stamp back. The picture of the stamp could be fully enlarged to see the exact stamp and the exact condition. Under the description I always list if you have any questions or would like extra pictures please ask. Mr Snyder was shipped the exact stamp listed. He also checked that the shipping was to high, and the shipping was free.
It is paypal (which I no longer suport or use) policy to give the buyer back their money regardless of the conditions or terms the item is sold under. Which DOES NOT protect the buyer at all!!
If you are a Ebay seller if you watch you will notice more and more people no longer taking paypal and you can bet I learned my lesson.
