I have been searching for a plastic surgeon. At first this Dr. Martin Jugenburg sounded perfect. Then I started to read the reviews and he sounded almost too perfect. In fact the reviews appear to be generated by the same person. Same style of writting and same PERFECT compliments that I havent seen in other Plastic surgeon reviews. There is something very fishy about this guy. I can smell it! The negative reviews are usually hidden or at the bottom but they are all authentic in writing style. Poor reviews on him are horrible and all speak of a cold, rushed, uninvolved surgeon with an arrogant personality.
They reported botched reviews too but as I said they are well hidden and arent reflected in his 5 stars...and probably some have been removed that we dont know about! Also, who gets 400 reviews in short period of time?! Most long time great Dr.s dont even have that many reviews!? This Dr. Jugenburg sounds like a bomb ready to explode. Im not suprised to find this on Ripoffreports. Im sorry about your friend but know all frauds are eventually found out! A Dr. in my hometown just got 20 yrs in prison although he was found out 30+ years later after killing yet another patient..He will spend his senior years in a prison system!

I am very sorry to hear about your friend. However, I am an industry insider and am privy to information regarding surgical complications and subsequent law suits filed. What I can say is that complications can arise with even the most skilled surgeons. This is not a case of a family doctor with no experience, pretending to be a cosmetic surgeon like we saw in 2007. Dr. Jugenberg is a highly respected plastic surgeon. He has learned from with some of the pioneers in the industry in Toronto and New York. Further, he completed a 5 year residency in Plastics. He is also a plastics specialist certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He current works with Dr. Frank Lista, an industry heavy weight and 10 year Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Trillium Health Center (The Mississauga Hospital). Frankly, Dr. Lista works with the best and does know better. I have recently met with Dr. Jugenburg with respect to a surgical procedure I am looking into for myself after the referral of a few industry juggernauts. He was very thorough, considerate and was very knowledgeable. I was extremely comfortable with him and am going forward with this major procedure. I can assure you that in my profession, I have seen the worst of the worst so one would think I would be paranoid given your friend's story. I am extremely comfortable with this doctor and have no qualms about him operating on me. Please correct me if I am wrong, however, from what I understand, Dr. Jugenberg's patient was never "brain dead", and is recovering from his rare complication. On a personal note, I don't think it is fair to make accusations without full information. I don't think he is smug at all. See his blog regarding this incident. http://askasurgeon.blogspot.com/2008/10/surgical-complications.html Does not sound like someone who takes his work lightly. I hope your friend is recovering well.
