This doctor is a Chiropracter. They have no training in hormones. This doctor supposedly has a magic machine that tells why you can't loose weight and what hormones are out of balance what a scam Baycare Hospital, HCA Hospital and Florida Hospital and Univ. South Florida Medical says there is no such machine it is a scam.

He puts you on a 500 calorie diet and has you on a diet that mostly includes highly expensive meat that you can only find at speacialty places. he says you can loose 40 pounds in 40 days. Read the fine print very few achieve this. Actually very few loose any weight on his plan. if you don't loose he does not have any training to help you. This is a huge scam this so called doctor is making a fortune on.

As a former user of this program, I agree and disagree with some of your comments.

I too, did not lose the "advertised" or insinuated weight that their advertising suggests.

But I DID lose some weight - their contract does allow for refunds if a certain amount of weight loss is not acheived in a round of their program (If memory serves this is 20 pounds).  Which is still nothing to shake a stick at - 20 pounds is still amazing for the process. HOWEVER - if you DONT lose that 20 pounds (I lost 19 and stuck there), they are NOT eager to refund - instead what they want to do is have you do another round of the program at no charge.  I was not interested in this, and ended up being out the money as I just didnt want to take the time to pursue it as I had other things going on in my life that were taking up my time (a wedding).   Thus I dont know if I would have been offered a refund or not.

I would liken this to a detox/cleansing program/process where weight loss is a by-product vs just a weight loss program.

And if approached in this regard, I would recommend it, IF you have the money.  It's deff not cheap (more on the expensive side actually) and personally, I feel there are better methods out there than this program to acheive a healthy detox/total body cleanse - let alone weight loss.

The literature you get when you attend a program, and the program itself is interesting - if nothing else (and this is free to go to) you may learn some interesting information.  Just don't get caught up in the hype and possible excitement.  Dr Urshan is a very enthusastic and enticing public speaker.

The stress how toxins etc are not only eaten, but also enviromentally absorbed through the body (skin) via products you may be using daily - soaps, shampoos, body lotions, makeup etc...  A key part of the program is eliminating oils/fats from the products you use.  This, again to stress for women especially, is all the way down to the foundation, lipstick and even mascara that you use.  THIS is where things can get tough and adds expense as you have to go out and buy all new make up, shampoo, conditioners, body lotions EVERYTHING!  It can be found, but you'll probably have to shop several stores and spend a few hours looking for everything.   In the end I had to buy the body lotion from their office as I couldnt find anything off their list locally.

Food can be another difficulty - anyone who's use to eating clean/healthy, organic etc.. knows that making that switch means you're spending more money at the grocery store.  From experience, I'd already been eating this way for several years, so it was not a big thing for me on the foods, and all recommended items were easily found (except one fruit, but that was it).

Additionally, I have extremely dry skin -- this program IS NOT FOR YOU if you have dry skin!  Something that I would have appreciated being informed about ahead of time, but wasn't.  Nothing helped my skin, and it just got dryer during this program.  As I did this to lose some weight before my wedding - this was a personal disaster IMO.  The gal I met with each week even told me that yes, dry skin isnt helped during this program, but a few months after getting off the program my skin would return to it's normal state.  This was not the case in my situation - it was probably 6 months before my skin got back to a normal state, and this was well AFTER the wedding!  That alone has me NOT recommending this program to ANY person with dry skin or skin issues along this line.
