I bet you guys are not going to believe what happened to me. But here it goes. Unfortunately I purchased a vehicle from Drivetime on 02-14-05 and on 02-28-05 they repossessed it, because they claimed that I defaulted on the loan when I didn't come in and pay an additional down payment of $225.00, and they used $150.00 dollars of my down payment and used it for some vehicle insurance which they forced me to buy to get the vehicle off the lot and which was good for only 30 days.

And they made a mistake in their own contract that my down payment was supposed to be only $1275.00, but there were no written statements that I actually was supposed to pay a down payment of $1,500.00 down. Get this they wrote in all their own contracts and paperwork a down payment of only $1275.00 and even deducted this amount from the purchase price of the vehicle, and no where in the contract did they say anything about a down payment of 1500 dollars.

And there is more but it will take about ten pages. I called and asked for management but they were rude and told me that I would not get back my down payment of $1275.00 nor the $150.00 for the car insurance I purchased. I want to get a class action lawsuit together, please contact me (through link below) if interested.

Go see a lawyer - don't wait. Put pressure on the dealer to give your money back.

Lawyers-double edged sword. They might be able to get your money back but then you pay fees. For a class action lawsuit the lawyers will make lots of money and you will receive even less.
